Accessibility Declaration
navable helps you generate an accessibility declaration (accessibility statement) for your website. This document describes your site's accessibility status and is often required by regulations like the European Accessibility Act (EAA) or Section 508.
Navigate to Accessibility Declaration in the sidebar under the Tools section.
The AI-generated declaration is a starting point. Always consult a legal advisor to ensure it meets your jurisdiction's requirements.
Declaration Form
The form guides you through the required information:
- Provider Information — Your organization's name, address, and contact details.
- Product Information — The URL, name, and description of the website the declaration covers.
- Compliance Information — Your compliance status, declaration date, and how to provide the accessibility assessment (upload a file, enter text, or use navable audit results directly).
- Optional Information — Testing method, feedback mechanism, specific measures, and barrier removal timeline.
You can toggle Include violations from Navable audit to automatically include findings from your latest audit results.
